New Floor to Kichen Meal Area

I have finally finished relaying a new laminate floor to the Kitchen & Family Area after about 10 days of intermittent work.
Total area of 44 square meters was bought, including foam underlay. We managed to offset the cost by using the vouchers reclaimed from bonus point from accumulation of Westpac Credit cards.
It looked easy but it was quite hard work as a lot of kneeling was involved. Then there are door ways and odd angles to cut and fit around. The old tile area was not even as flat as I thought, making laying this 7mm thin laminate much harder - the tongue and groove just do not fit nicely if the sub-base is not flat.
There were also 4 door thresholds to be finished off with metal trims. I have to take down and cut back 2 doors as the floor is higher now by 8mm. Fortunately, the door are hollowed core making it easy to cut with handsaw.
