I've been reading a book by John & Paula Sandford - "Prophets, Healers & the emerging Church" . They founded the Elijah house Inc

The authors were both in their late seventies, happily married for 50 years, with grand children and great grand children. They minister in the prophetic, inner healing, marriage and ministry of restoration in general.

It is a very refreshing book as it much biography stuff of both the husband and wife - including their childhood, romances, their struggle through colleges in the 1940s, their relationships, and scrapping enough money in their early marriage with kids and making it through college. God's grace and providence through their years of Christian ministry.

How to hear from God....How He guide our life's circumstances etc. Believing and exercising the prophetic, the need for inner healing etc.

They recount stories about how God has propheticaaly spoken through his mother before birth, how he impressed upon them that He has called them from birth. the partners for marriage etc - pretty facinating stuff...

"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you,
before you were born I set you apart;
I appointed you as a prophet to the nations." ( Jeremiah 1:5)
